2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information, and use the Service only for lawful purposes. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

4. Your Responsibilities

Only upload documents and tenant information you have a lawful right to use
Verify all notice details before sending
Comply with applicable landlord-tenant, eviction, fair housing, and privacy laws
Not use the Service for unlawful purposes

You are solely responsible for deciding whether to send a notice and for the outcome of any eviction process.

5. Document Generation and Delivery

We provide tools and templates based on state-specific rules. We do not guarantee that any notice will be legally sufficient in every case or that delivery will succeed in every situation. Delivery tracking depends on the method selected and third-party carriers.

6. Fees and Payment

Some features require payment. Prices are shown at purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe or other authorized providers. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third parties for payments, mail delivery, email, and document processing. We are not responsible for third-party outages or errors outside our reasonable control.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LEASESHIELD WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) $100.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify LeaseShield against claims arising from your use of the Service, documents you generate or send, information you provide, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or service discontinuation.
